Same Teams In Lead South Christchurch A, Beckenham and University A retained the lead in the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s winter competition when they won their third-day matches at Wilding Park on Saturday. South Christchurch A beat Sumner i by 5 matches to 1, University A beat University C by 6 matches to 0. Beckenham beat Woolston by 4 matches to 2, and Barrington beat South Christchurch B by 8 sets to 6. In the other fixture University B gained its first point when it beat North Linwood by default.
