The student will be expected to undertake research for a higher degree. The research project will involve the seting up of automatic scintillation counting equipment for the measurement of Carbon-14 and the use of this technique for the measurement of uptake, translocation, and de-activation by plants of radioactive growth-regulators. Previous training in chemistry, physics, and plant physiology is desirable.
