MEETINGS AT SUMMIT
Plan For Series Welcomed (Rec. 10 p.m.) BOMBAY. May 14 The Soviet Prime Minister. Mr Nikita Khrushchev, has welcomed the suggestion by the British Prime Minister. Mr Macmillan, of a series of summit meetings as an ‘‘extremely valuable proposal.” In an interview with Mr R. K Karanjia. editor of the .Left-wing Indian weekly. “Blitz,” Mr Khrushchev said: “We are ready to take part in any talks that would enable leaders of States better to understand each other and consequently would make it possible to settle acute international issues peacefully ” The interview was given before the Foreign Ministers* conference opened in Geneva
