The Indonesian Army Chief of Staff, General Nasuton, said yesterday that Indonesian rebels had sent private envoys to the Government seeking a peaceful settlement of their dispute. General Nasution, said in a radio broadcast to the rebel stronghold of Minahasa, in the North Celebes, that the rebels were suffering military, economically, and politically and were seeking to end hostilities peacefully.
