Sumner Sea Wall
Sir, —As a complete answer to D. E. Smith and others on this subject, would it be possible for you to publish a photograph of the Esplanade and Nayland street as at March, 1954, when the sea did break in? Also a few short extracts from the prayers of all Sumner residents to the engineers on that occasion?—Yours, etc., ONCE BIT. May 14, 1959.
