Guest Speaker For Nurses
Miss Ellen Broe, director of education in the International Council of Nurses with headquarters in London, will be the guest speaker at a special meeting of the Canterbury and West Coast branches of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association next Thursday. Miss Broe is in New Zealand to represent the international council at the nurses’ study conference held this week in Wellington. The theme of the study centre was “Present day needs for a satisfactory nursing service in the South Pacific area.” She also attended the annual meeting of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association held in Rotorua.
