Mercer 1 ABOVE SUSPICION, H.M. the Queen’s 9-0 .. W. H. Carr 2 MASHAM, Mr A. A. Allis’s, 9-0 D. Smith 3 Five started. Short head; eight lengths. Official starting prices were 7-2 Agricola, 7-1 Above Suspicion, evens Masham (favourite). The winner received £2028 10s. the second £221 and the third £lOO.
