Life Of US. Cars
The average life of an American automobile is 12.5 yearn. By the time the average ear Is scrapped, It has logged 110,000 miles. These figures were gathered by the Automobile .Manufacturers’ Association of America, which also reported that: The average age of American cars is just under six years, with more than 25,000,000 five or > more years old. Almost 3,500,000 American cars still on the road are fourteen years old or older. “New” cars those two years old or less—are the second biggest category, with 10,500,000. Back In 1925, the average car logged 25,700 miles before it was junked at the age of 6.5 years.
