PLANS APPROVED BY PRESBYTERY
Church Alterations And Extensions Extensions and alterations to Presbyterian churches were approved by the Presbytery of Christchurch at its monthly meeting last evening. Applications approved were:— St. Peters, Woolston: A new laundry and outbuildings to be built for the manse. Redcliffs: Alterations to the rear of the Redcliffs Church to provide two Sunday-school classrooms and a vestry at an estimated cost of £500., Culverden: The extension of the existing Sunday-school building at Culverden to provide two additional classrooms. Waikari: Extensions for the Waikari Church . to provide kitchen facilities. Approval has already been given to raise a loan of £lOOO for the removal of St. Annes Church to the present site in South Brighton. Permission had pot been granted for the use of this site and approval for its sale and the purchase of a new section was referred to the property and finance committee with power to act.
