QUILL, MORRIS, COWLES
New Company Registered The registration of a private company. Quill, Morris, Cowles, Ltd., is notified in the “Mercantile Gazette.’’ The registration is in accordance with an announcement earlier this year of an agreement between Quill, Morris, Ltd., and W. J. Cowles and Son, Ltd. The new company was registered on April 30. Its registered office is at 15 Dundas street (Quill, Morris’s office is at 19 Dundas street). Capital is £50.000, of which each firm has subscribed half. Objects are to manufacture and deal in aerated waters, cordials and incidental. In his annual report, the chairman of Quill, Morris (Mr F. S. Taylor) said in March that the company’s aerated water and cordial department had been merged with the business of Cowles and Son. Mr W. V. Cowles filled a vacancy on the Quill, Morris board last year.
