MILK SUPPLY FOR TAYLOR’S MISTAKE
Vendor’s Objection
A gate-to-gate delivery to give a better milk service to residents of Taylor’s Mistake road, to begin on May 1, was ordered by the Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board at its last meeting. The vendor wrote to yesterday’s meeting that there was no convenient turning point on the road and several miles of unwarranted dead running on a narrow, steep road with his present vehicle was involved. The board appointed the chairman (Mr R. G. Brown) and the supervising officer (Mr A. P. Millthorpe) to make an inspection and report to the next meeting.
