R. D. Hoskin Breaks Bone In Foot The Canterbury and University Rugby five-eighths, R. D. Hoskin, broke a bone in his left foot at training on Wednesday and will be out of the game for three or four weeks. The injury has come at an unfortunate time for Hoskin, and may prevent him from taking part in the first regional South Island trial at Christchurch on June 3. The final South Island trial will be held at Timaru on June 9.
