The successful applicant will be expected to assume responsibility for a part of the development programme. The major present activity is the development of magnetic tape storage equipment for attachment to the existing computer SILLIAC. On completion of this project work is expected to commence on the construction of a new, very-high-speed transistor computer. The salary will be in the range £l5OO-90-£2lOO per annum, commencing according to the experience and qualifications oi the appointee.
