SPRINGSTON SOUTH DOMAIN BOARD
Subsidy For Tennis Volley Board
The Springston South Domain Board will authorise a subsidy of £1 for £2, up to £2O. to enable the Selwyn Huts Tennis Club to erect a volley board. This was decided at a meeting of the board. The site initially suggested by the tennis club was disapproved of, and another near the caretaker’s cottage was chosen. A motion to increase the regulation distance of three feet between the section boundaries and huts was rescinded. Twelve feet will continue to be
the maximum height of the macrocarpa hedge in the domain. The play area has been topdressed, and inquiries made about forming a cricket pitch.
