Thefts by Youth.—A total of £1962 worth of property, £lBl7 of which had not yet been recovered by the police, was stolen from Wellington offices, shops and warehouses by Vaudry John Bishop, aged 19, a clerk, and another youth, said the police prosecutor (Mr C. J. Smillie) in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Bishop pleaded guilty to 12 charges of breaking and entering and theft, and was remanded in custody till May 14 for sentence. —(P.A.)
