Eggs
Sir, —“Cartoned Eggs” says he knows eggs such as ours, which are nevertheless cleaned and individually weighed, would not pass the test. What he does not know is that we used to send to the egg floor as he advises, but that demand at the gate became s so great we now have none left to send. There are doubtless other gate sellers in the same position. He still does not say why customers, whom he claims are exploited, should return, week after week, frequently remarking on their dislike of egg floor eggs.—Yours, etc., MACES ROAD. May 6, 1959.
