Delinquency And Crime
“Delinquency and Crime” were discussed at a closed meeting of the Canterbury branch of the Royal Society of New Zealand last evening. No records were taken, so that the panel could speak freely. Those taking part were Professor H. E. Field, of the education department. University of Canterbury, as chairman; Mr Royston G. Brown, deputy-superintendent of the Invercargill Borstal Institution; Mr J. T. Ferguson, a child welfare officer of the Education Department, Wellington; Dr. Jean A. Seabrook, a psychologist of the Child Health Clinic, Christchurch; a practising physician; and a practising barrister and solicitor.
