Among the 11 features will be operations of the | polar i supply vessel Endeavour *iand the Royal Yacht Britannia, i The navy has also undertaken sto exhibit films of the atomic - submarine Nautilus and the earth s satellite Explorer 1 for the United States Embassy in Wellingon. c ; Children’s Day As the Industries Fair is being held during the school holidays, there will be no organised school
visits this year, as there have sometimes been in the past. There will be a children’s day, however, when the fair executive will have as its guests the boys and girls from children’s homes in Christchurch; and a special effort is made to see that these children have a good time.
