ARMY ON DISPLAY

To ensure easy public access to their display in a separate building for services exhibits, Army engineers have bridged a 20ft roadway at second-storey level. The engineers built the bridge by mounting half-ton girders lOin through on tubular scaffolding. They also constructed display stands. A highlight of the Army exhibition is an up-to-the-moment display of electronic equipment by the Royal New, Zealand Signals. Amateur radio enthusiasts should find plenty to interest them in this section, which also shows teleprinters, test instruments and the Army’s latest short-range radio.
