Tomes Road-Rutland Street Extension
Sir, —Now that the sewer is being placed in Rutland street up to Tomes road, is it the intention of the City Council to extend Rutland street to Tomes road? We have waited years to havfe the blind street opened up. It appears this is the opportunity—Yours, TOMES ROAD. February 26, 1959. [The City Engineer (Mr E. Somers) says the City Council has already bought land for the extension of Rutland street to Tomes road. Construction will begin on completion of the sewer and the settlement of the fiUing.l
