Microphone Used By Billy Graham
(N.Z Press \ Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, February 17. One of the secrets of the appeal of the American evengelist. Dr. Billy Graham —his strong resonant voice—was ‘let out” last night as he spoke to nearly lO.OOCLpeople in Melbourne Stadium and an adjacent temporary annex. Dr. Graham used a tiny microphone clipped to his tie with wire running under his arm and down the back of his coat and across the platform where an assistant kept, playing out. and reeling in the wire as Dr. Graham strode about the platform during his rally address. The stadium filled to its capacity of 750 f- More people arrived before the rally' started, and hundreds were still waiting to enter when the rally began.
