(New Ztalana Press AMociatim). DUNEDIN, February 17. Irons and braces which had supported her for four years had become unnecessary because of the ministrations of Dr. Christopher Woodard, said Mrs M. A. Park in the South Dunedin Baptist Church on Sunday night Mrs Park is now matron Of a rest home in Hargest crescent, St. Hilda.
She described how, caged in irons which braced the whole length of her back, she went to listen to Dr. Woodard in the Dunedin Town Hall, She had felt very much better as a result, and decided to attend the special service in St. Paul’s Cathedral at which Dr. Woodard spoke to sick persons and laid hands on them. :
At the moment Dr. Woodard touched her she felt suddenly that she did not need her supports any more, she said. She went straight home and took them off, and had not worn them since. Her own doctor had described the cure as miraculous.
One of Mrs Park’s doctors, a Dunedin specialist, said that she had been undoubtedly vastly improved since Dr. Woodard’s visit, and had been able to get rid of her braces and supports and soon.
