AUSTRALIAN SHOW JUMPERS
Team Competes In Dunedin (New Zeaiana Press Association) DUNEDIN, January 27. The Australian jumpers appeared on the opening day of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show today, the best performance recorded by them being in the preliminary of the F.E.I. competition for C and A grade horses. Whisper, ridden by F. Lawton (Australia), tied for first place with Miss N. S. Darling’s Remember (Oamaru). Both horses had faultless rounds, and their meeting in the final will , arouse considerable interest. Other Australian horses to appear in the final of this event tomorrow are Colin Kelly’s Polar Bay and Miss Marjorie Coombes’s Pleasure, which will also contest the final of the leaping championship.
