PLANE CRASH IN MALAYA
R.A.F. Transport In Flames (NJZ Press Association—Copyright i KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 26. A Royal Air Force Valetta transport aircraft crashed and burst into flames when taking off from Kuala Lumpur airport late this afternoon. The four members of the crew scrambled clear of the aircraft after it crashed. They were taken to hospital suffering from cuts and shock. The aircraft, which was severely damaged, blocked the main runway at Kuala Lumpur civil airport for several hours, delaying the arrival of Tunku Abdul Rahman, the Premier, who was visiting Singapore. He was unable to attend national day parties for Australia and India for which he had been invited to be the principal guest
