Players and their associations entered for the national B.P. lawn tennis tournament, for secondary school players, to be played at Wilding Park on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are as follows: Northland: K. O’Carroll, Misses P. O’Carroll and C. Wansbourhe; Auckland: B. Young, L. Milne, Misses E. Green, P. Belton and H. Lockington; Waikato: I. Crookenden, Miss M. A. Smith; Hawke’s Bay: M. Wilford; Taranaki: R. Purser and Miss A. Smillie; Bay of Plenty: B. Corbett, Miss J. Shenahan; Manawatu: J. Brady; Wairarapa: M. Mathieson, Miss R Garland. Wellington: J. Souter, R. Clarke, R. Hawkes, Misses J. Hayvice and G. Paterson; Nelson: D. Heatherbell, Miss/ B. Green; Canterbury: G. Moss, L. Walpole or P. Alexander, Misses J. Andrews, J. Hatch and K. Reece; North Otago: I. T. Wilson; Hutt Valley: J. Taylor, D. Cowie, Misses G. Hirst and E. Cavaye; Otago: I. Clarke, Misses M. Sutton and M. Stewart; Southland: J. Mahoney, Miss R. Jones. The players will be drawn into their groups of five for the preliminary rounds on Sunday evening.
