"One day you have restrictions keeping overseas goods out, the next day there are no restrictions and a flood of imported goods which can put local manufacturers out of business.” he said. His corporation had not considered investing hqre. "But, at this point, we are beginning to consider investment and the Government attitude will influence us,” he said. Mr Knight mentioned Australia as • country where the Government had created a "benign” climate for overseas Investors.
