FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation: An anti-cyclone is centred to the east of New Zealand and another anti-cyclone is developing over the south Tasman Sea. Forecast:— x West Coast and Nelson: Winds moderate and variable; weather fair to fine and warm. Outlook: fine. Marlborough: Moderate southerlies developing on the Kaikoura coast, otherwise winds moderate easterlies; weather fine and warm. Outlook: fine. Canterbury: Moderate winds from a southerly quarter developing; somd cloudy areas with the sputherlies, especially near the coast, but weather for the most part fair to fine with cooler temperatures.
