Golf McDougall To Be Professional

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 14. The leading New Zealand amateur golfer, E. J. McDougall, of Pukekohe, has decided to turn professional. In a fortnight's time he will take up full-time employment with an Auckland sports store. McDougall won the New Zealand amateur championship at Hokowhitu, Palmerston North, in 1957, and was a member of the New Zealand team which played in the world amateur championship at St. Andrews.
