Random Reminder Communications People away on their annual holidays often have to make elaborate preparations: the dog has to be boarded out, the canary left with Aunt Agatha, the boy next door persuaded to give the lawns an occasional cut, the milkman advised of the dates of departure and return, the house keys left with relatives, so they can switch on the hot water system and so forth for the returning travellers. Much has to be done in planning and packing, and when at last the holiday has < begun, there is a fine feeling < of freedom from the everyday things of life. But there is one link with custom which the wise holidaymaker is unwilling to sever, and that is his daily delivery of "The Press.” So large is the area covered by "The Press” that thousands of holiday makers can enjoy it while they are away from home. Even on holidays, the news and views of the day are always welcome, and especially useful are the classified advertising columns.
