BRABIN SHIELD PLAYERS
Team May Be Sent To
Australia
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 14. It ts planned to send a New Zealand Brabin Shield cricket team to Australia in 1960, according to the managerial report on the Brabin tournament, held in Wellington from December 28 to January 3. The team, which would make a short tour, would be selected after the next tournament in Christchurch, from December 28, 1959, to January 2, 1960, and the New Zealand Cricket Council would provide the return fares, plus blazers and caps.
