Historical Interest
A fdlder of photographs taken during a visit to Australia eight years ago by a group of members of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association on a trade mission has reached the office of the association’s secretary (Mr R. T. Alston). The interest in the photographs is rather less today than it might have been earlier, but one feature which stands out is the difference in the waist-lines and hair-lines of manufacturers over the last eight herd-working years.
