TALKS IN EGYPT
Agreement Date Expected
(Rec. 10 p.m.) CAIRO, January 13. Egyptian negotiators are hoping that today’s session of their financal talks with British officials will result in a date being fixed for signing an agreement to end the two countries* financial differences. The Governor of the United Arab Republic’s National Bank (Dr. Abdel Guelil El Emary) predicted last night that a date would be fixed at the end of today’s session.
Mr Colin Crowe, of the British Foreign Office, said: “It is too early to say how long-the talks will last.”
