ENGULFED VILLAGE
Official Death Roll 132
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MADRID, January 12. A total of 132 persons are dead or missing in Ribadelago, the Spanish village which was engulfed after a dam burst early bn Friday. The Civil Governor of Zambora Province (Mr Don Juan Murillo) has issued a statement naming the 132 victims. The total includes the 23 whose bodies have been recovered.
Scores of bodies are still buried beneath the ruined houses of the village, which is near the Portuguese border.
