Imitation For First Leg “The Press’- Special Service DUNEDIN, January 1. Imitation and Olympic Flame may play principal roles in the finish of the President’s Handicap, the main race and first leg of the double at the Oamaru Jockey Club’s meeting tomorrow. Imitation’s record at the Dunedin Cup meeting was one third and two fourths.

Tis tihrd was behind Ark Royal and Compensate in the James Hazlett Gold Cup last Saturday, and one of his fourths was in the Dunedin Cup.

Purser has been scratched. He gave a leg a knock at Washdyke and has been taken back to Riccarton.

Bridal Bay and Naseby, stablemates of Jesse Owens, and other dual acceptors, will probably run in the Waitaki Hack Handicap, according to their trainer.
