BUTCHER’S SHOP ROBBED
Considerable Sum Stolen
While the manager of the M.M.M. butcher’s shop at Lyttelton was absent from the shop for a short time last evening, the shop was broken into and a considerable sum of money was stolen The manager (Mr James Robertson) had made up the cash from the till and placed it in a bag. He left the shop locked while he did some shopping. On ‘his return he found that the intraders had broken in through a back window and the bag of money was missing.
