(New Zealand. Press Association) TIMARU, December 19. The official report on today’s Timaru wool sale states:—

“There was a full bench of buyers and competition for the coarser grades was keen and fairly general. Coarse crossbreds can be quoted as very firm on recent rates, but medium and fine crossbreds were up to 2J per cent, easier than in Dunedin. For halfbred and Merino wools the demand was very limited, and apart from the best lots, which were mostly taken by New Zealand mills,, the bulk of these were sold or passed in to the Wool Commission, which bid extensively on the offering. Pieces and oddments sold comparatively well, though some of the finer qualities showed an easing tendency. Range of Prices The official range of prices is:— d. d. Merino, 60/76’s
