Cadets For Officer Training Overseas
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 10. Two of the cadets at yesterday’s passing-out parade at the Regular Force Cadet School, Waiouru, have been selected for officer training overseas. They are Lance-Corporal M. H. Devlin, of Wanganui, who is to go to Sandhurst, England, and Lance-Cor-poral E. B. Bestiek, of Rotorua, who will attend the Royal Military College, Duntroon. Both cadets were also in university examinations this year. The parade of 118 cadets, of whom 58 were graduates, was inspected by the Chief of the General Staff (Major-General C. E. Weir).
