Pukekohe High School, for the second year in succession, has won the Kate McCosh Clark Cup in the Bren light machine-gun competition among post-primary school cadet units in the Northern Military District, but the trophy cannot be presented to members of the successful team because burglars stole it last March. "It’s a darned shame.” said me school’s headmaster (Mr A. R. Dreaver) today.
