Shooting Cup Stolen
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 10.
Pukekohe High School, for the second year in succession, has won the Kate McCosh Clark Cup in the Bren light machine-gun competition among post-primary school cadet units in the Northern Military District, but the trophy cannot be presented to members of the successful team because burglars stole it last March. "It’s a darned shame.” said me school’s headmaster (Mr A. R. Dreaver) today. "We had the cup in our safe, and the safe and all disappeared.” The cup had a 63 years’ association with shooting events in the Northern Military DUtrict
