Mr Holyoake ' s Visit
Sir, —"B Constant” glosses lightly over the National Government’s misdemeanours. I suggest that for downright pure facts, Mr Holyoake and his party, take a census throughout New Zealand of (1) why there was an abnormal number of bankruptcies during, the National Government’s reign; (2) how and why homeless families became homeless; (3) exactly what effect the credit squeeze had on businesses, young farmers, and local bodies. This would not only be an eye-opener to the National Party but would be an education on human rights and would prove the necessity of sharing the national income.— Yours, etc., FACTS. December 8, 1958.
