I King Gustav and Queen Louise I of Sweden, are staying in London! I incognito, registered at their jhotel under the names of the. Count and Countess of Gnpsholm —titles used by the Swedish Royal : family for 200 years, says <a London Correspondent : Queen Louise, who arrived ahead of her husband, has been going round the London stores informally doing her Christmas ;shopping. She recently visited her: brother, Earl Mountbatten, at his 1 Hampshire home. The King and Queen of Sweden were married 35 years ago at StJames Palace, London. Last week the King celebrated his seventvsixth birthday. Queen Louise, a great-grand-daughter of Queen Victoria and a: cousin of the lata King George jVJ, spent most of her childhood jin Britain. Daring the First World War she worked in military hospitals as a sister in the British Red Cross.
Now 69. the dark-haired Queen is still remarkably active and rtakes a special interest in nursing land child welfare.
