QUOTATIONS IN CHRISTCHURCH

Overseas Exchange Rates (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 19. There has been little movement of any consequence in foreign currency quotations to the £N.Z. during the last two weeks, accord- ; ing to the last summary on ex- i change rates by the National Bank < of New Zealand. Ltd. The United ] States dollar continued to remain ] steady around 5-8 of a cent I cheaper than par. Spot buying < and selling rates of the dollar appreciated 1-16 of a cent, repre- I sentmg a fluctuation of slightly 4 less than 6d per £lOOO to New 5 Zealand traders, while on the 1 other hand the forward selling f premium weakened from 3-8 to i 1 of a cent a month. The Canadian dollar appreciated t slightly to the £N.Z. over the 1 last two weeks.
