; The demand for shell eggs rcl mains in excess of last year’s record figures, according to this month's issue of the “New Zealand Poultry World.” From the beginning of the season on July 1 until October IS. sales by the Egg Marketing Authority’s licensed distributors increased to about 4.635.000 dozen, compared with 4.308.000 dozen in 1957 and 3.892.000 dozen in 1956. These figures represent only one-third of the Dominion’s consumption.
