Dr. Dick Superintendent At Cashmere Public Hospital
The medical superintendent and matron of the new Cashmere Public Hospital were announced by the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday. They are Dr. K C. S. Dick, an ‘ assistant physician on the part- • time staff of the Christchurch Public Hospital, and a member of the Royal College of Physicians 'London' and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians; and Miss Jean Taylor, who was ap- ■ pointed matron of the Burwood Public Hospital last year after being first assistant lady super1 intendent at the Christchurch Public Hospital. Dr. Dick is 45 and Miss Taylor ! 39. Distinguished Career Dr. Dick has had a distini guished career in both the wartime and Territorial peace-time armies. Merton, the first headmaster! >f Cathedral Grammar School. They have four children. Scholarship, which enmled her tn study at Toronto' l'”.i\ ei sity. There, she gained ar honours certificate in advanced nursing education. On completion of her study in.
