U.S. Roller-Skaters To Tour N.Z.
(A'ciu Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. Nov. 18 A team of United States national roller-skating champions will visit New Zealand next month. The team will arrive in Auckland on December 8, and will remain in New Zealand for several weeks. In the South Island they will visit Nelson, Tieton, and Christchurch. Skaters in the team will include Zukowski and Diane Ludwig, holders of the United States senior pairs championship, and R. Babb, the American speed champion. Mr George. Apdalc, president of the United States association, will manage the team. The tour is being sponsored by the Amateur Roller Skating Associaion of New Zealand. It will cost the association nearly £2OOO.
