The latest proposal is the' formation of a local division of; the Association of Official Racing' Chemists. Eleven members of this world- ' wide association will meet at i Randwick on November 24 and) 25. The Australian Jockey Club | has convened the conference to I form the South-west Pacific | division of the association. Two representatives of the association will fly from Chicago to| attend the conference.

Other overseas representatives at the conference will be Mr I*. A. Addis-Smith, analyst to the New Zealand Racing Conference and New Zealand Trotting Conference, and Mr S. A. Baron, i who is associated with the Straits Racing Commission. The secretary of the A.J.C, (Mr W. N. Parry-Okenden) said that the new division was being formed to promote a closer working relationship between chemists in the South-west Pacific area. He said the conference would discuss the results of the latest research and problems at present confronting racing chemists.

Godby) has for Wiggle if the three-year-old I trains on as he expects, the cor- | respondent says. Mr Godby has mapped out Wiggle's autumn programme leading up to the proposed American trip. Wiggle will now have a short let-up, and her next start is likely to be in the C. F. Orr Stakes as Caulfield on January 31.

Previously the Orr Stakes has been run over one mile, but the conditions have been altered, and next year it will be a weight-for-age over six furlongs.
