Cheese Firm And Butter Steady tNcw Zealana Press Association) WELLINGTON. November 11. The ex store price of New Zealand cheese in London advanced again yesterday while the price of New Zealand butter remained unchanged, reports the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission. Finest white New Zealand cheese moved up by 25s per cwt. from 266 s to 291 s per cwt. Limited supplies of the three main origins of Cheddar and Cheddar type cheese. United Kingdom. New Zealand and Australian, are available, while the strong demand continues. New Zealand butter remained steady at 264 s per cwt. ex store yesterday’ and trade has been brisk. The retail price has moved up Id or 2d per lb in recent weeks. The multiple stores are now selling New Zealand butter at 2s 6d and 2s 7d per lb reports the Commission.
