Railways More “Diesel-Minded”

(New Zeaiana Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 27. Australian and New Zealand railway officials were becoming more and more “diesel engineminded,” said Mr F. R. Murray, transportation superintendent for the New Zealand Railways, He had just returned from a conference in Sydney. “Both countries will eventually be equipped completely with diesel engines,” he said.
