TRAFFIC BODY PRESIDENT
Miss M. McLean Elected
Miss M. McLean, of Christchurch, was yesterday elected president of the Traffic Institute at the tenth annual conference of the institute in Christchurch. She was proposed by the retiring president (Mr G. Black, of Hawke’s Bay), and her election, unopposed, was by acclamation. Mr P. T. Curran (Auckland) aAd Mr Black were elected vicepresidents. The following executive members were elected:—Traffic superintendents G. P. Kellar (Christchurch), N. Lake (Auckland), J. Anderson . (Wellington), and P. Lunn (Dunedin); Messrs B. Bar-ton-Ginger (Wellington), W. G. Bugden (Lower Hutt), N. D. Anderson (Dunedin), Davidson (Napier), E. C. Keenan (Newmarket).
It was decided that the annual conference of the institute next year would be held in Auckland.
