Trotters’ Race At Auckland

(“The Press’* Special Service) AUCKLAND, Sept. 26. Perekop, unbeaten in his last- two starts, will be a firm favourite for the Whitford Handicap, the main race for trotters on the final day of the. Auckland Trotting Club’s September meeting tomorrow. Perekop recorded an outstanding effort to win last Saturday, and the longer race tomorrow will suit him better. Most opposition to the Ashhurst trotter may come from Apple Cider and Sunny Smith. The double will be run on the Ferguson Handicap and the Oneroa Handicap. The weather is expected to be fine tomorrow, and the track will again be firm. Selections:— 10.45 a.m.—lnnovation Handicap.
