Murvale And Jalna “The Press’* Special Service AUCKLAND, Sept. 26. There is every prospect of good racing at the Te Aroha Jockey Club’s spring meeting tomorrow. In nearly every race there are good quality fields, and in the Ralph Somers Memorial Cup and the Electric Handicap, the respective legs of the double, the standard is especially high. The winning combination may be Murvale and Jalna. Other prominent candidates in the first leg are Tarry Town, Command Performer, and Lochwood. A strong field of sprinters will contest the Electric Handicap. Among them is the champion two-year-old of last season. Second Earl, which will be resuming racing after a long spell. He is above himself yet. but may run prominently. Second Earl has 8-8 and Jalna, a filly, has 7-0. The other three-year-old runners will be Sunny Bay and Count Filou, both of whom are at the 4 bottom of the handicap. The ground dried during a sunny spell. at the beginning of the week, and the going will probably be easy. Selections:—
